CANON CR-N700 £7872/$7999 canon.co.uk Canon’s CR-N700 brings 12G-SDI connections and Dual Pixel CMOS AF to PTZ cameras for a high-end experience. It is ideal for broadcast, TV studio and live event use. The compact CR-N700 supports up to UHD 4K/60p, 4:2:2 10-bit HDR video for incredible resolution and an easy HDR workflow. The CR-N700 shares similar specifications with high-resolution, cinema-style Canon cameras, such as a one-inch type CMOS sensor with an 8.39-megapixel resolution as well as a fast and powerful Digic DV7 image processor. There are built-in ND filters, too. The icing on the cake is Canon’s legendary Dual Pixel CMOS AF with the latest EOS iTR AF X system, which makes sure the image is sharp. The camera features a 15x optical/20x digital zoom with a 30x Advanced Zoom in HD, so you really can punch in when needed. CANON RC-IP1000 £5034/$4999 canon.co.uk Canon’s flagship PTZ camera controller, the RC-IP1000, is built for professional broadcast use and designed to work with all of Canon’s high-end PTZ models. It supports both IP and serial communication, enabling remote access and control. The input-monitoring feature allows viewing of live feeds on the controller’s seven-inch LCD screen. There is IP video and input monitoring of up to 200 cameras, with connections including HDMI out, 12G-SDI in/out, Serial RJ45, LAN/PoE+, two USB ports and two GPIO D-Sub options. The ergonomically designed joystick allows for fine-tuning of PTZ camera movements, while the customisable button on top adds even more versatility. With 42 buttons and 14 dials, controlling functions like iris, gamma and white-balance is simple. The RC-IP100 is a hardware controller designed for operating remote cameras. It features a seven-inch touchscreen and multi-function joystick to switch between up to 100 cameras and adjust settings. It also boasts a zoom rocker, customisable buttons and control knob. Connectivity options through serial and LAN integration are also available. The intuitive touchscreen and multi- function joystick work well together, allowing an operator to control production through a single LAN cable. You can store up to 100 preset angles per camera and record up to ten different movements for easy repeatability when needed. The IP100 is compatible with the XC IP protocol, so you can create a private, secure network to control cameras over LAN. It also features a second RJ45 port allowing control over cameras via the RS-422 serial protocol.
