Grab a picnic and a glass of something cold and sparkling: the glorious Heritage Live Concert Series is back! Organised by Giles Cooper Entertainment, the events run 12 to 14 July and bring A-list acts to the stunning setting of Audley End House. While you relax and soak up the splendour of this Jacobean mansion and its beautiful gardens, you’ll be treated to live music from legendary acts, including The Human League. Makers of immortal hits like Don’t You Want Me and Love Action (I Believe in Love) , they’re topping the bill on Friday the 12th, supported by fellow synth-pop heroes ABC, plus Belinda Carlisle. May Week, which actually takes place in June, is one of the great University of Cambridge traditions. The end of the academic year, it’s a time for extravagant balls, lavish garden parties and a chance for students to say their goodbyes.
