COTTAGE UPDATE
This pretty Georgian cottage in rural Cambridgeshire has enjoyed a number of renovations. “We moved in about five years ago and most of our building work was carried out during the Covid-19 years,” says owner Kirstie Smith ( @the.chapelhouse ). “Updates have included a double-storey extension at the back that needed listed planning consent, but we now have a new en-suite upstairs, a boot-room utility and another bathroom downstairs. In an old house like this, things are always going wrong – I expect the radiators will be next! But it’ll all be worth it in the long run.”
