FESTIVE FAYRE Christmas cuisine in Cambridge, vegetarian style
Cheers to you! Add the finishing touches to your Christmas cocktail soiree with this inclusive holiday treat by gluten-free foodie content creator Paige Esson (@glutenless_paige) , which uses local produce from Glebe Farm in Huntingdon.
SUGAR COOKIE MOCKTAIL
You will need • 450ml PureOaty Creamy & Enriched oat drink • 2 tbsp dairy-free cream • 1 tbsp maple syrup • ½ tsp almond extract
• ½ tsp vanilla extract • ½ tsp cinnamon • Ice For the glass decoration • 2 tbsp maple syrup • 2 tbsp festive sprinkles
Method 1. Dip the rim of the cocktail glass in maple syrup, then into the festive sprinkles. 2. Put PureOaty Creamy & Enriched oat drink, dairy-free cream, maple syrup, almond extract, vanilla extract and cinnamon into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker is icy cold. 3. Fill the cocktail glass with some ice, then pour the drink over it. If desired, top with more sprinkles and a few crushed gluten-free biscuits.
