W hether a sleek German kitchen or a traditional Shaker-inspired room, when it comes to design, Inspired Kitchens Cambridge offers a one- stop shop of ideas for all tastes. Launched almost three years ago as a sister company to the architectural practice Ely Planning Company (also based in Cambridgeshire), the business places architectural expertise right at its heart. “Because of this link, we can design a homeowner’s kitchen, and also help advise on the entire property if necessary,” explains Aiden Holmes, kitchen sales manager. Based in Haslingfield, South Cambridge, the team of four pride themselves on being hands-on with all projects. “We are a small business,” he continues, “and love creating beautiful kitchens. We make sure all of our customers are understood, and guide them throughout the entire process. Every project – big or small – is important to us.” The company works with two leading kitchen brands – Schüller, a German kitchen manufacturer, and Kitchen Stori, which has a wide range of customisable cabinets made in Ireland. “By offering just two top brands, our customers can choose from a broad variety of styles without being too overwhelmed,” explains Aiden. “Schüller kitchens are built to an extremely high standard, with exquisite detail,” he adds. “With over 30 doors and colours to choose from, our customers are

The brand has a fantastic range of Shaker and traditional door styles which can be made in unique shapes and sizes. This can make your new kitchen stand out.” Aiden sums it up: “We are a small local company and put our heart and soul into creating the perfect kitchen for all our clients. The kitchen is the heart of the home and you will spend a lot of time in there. So we are here to guide our customers through the process and bring their dream kitchens to life.”
“This helps the customer understand how they will be able to work in their new space and to experiment with different colours and styles,” reveals Aiden. “From that point on, we fully project manage the entire renovation – from initial removal to completion and leaving the customer with the new kitchen.” Of course storage is key, continues Aiden. “I’d always recommend the Le Mans corner unit, which is a kidney-shaped pull- out that extends to reach the back of your cupboard.
