Available in four colours – black, white, red and pink – the Pixi is the perfect support to take everywhere with you. It weighs just 190g, but can support over three times its own weight so it’s great for owners of CSCs or lightweight DSLRs after shake-free shots wherever they go. The Pixi’s ball head gives plenty of framing flexibility and getting the camera into the right position couldn’t be easier thanks to the single push-button control. Push the button to release the joint and move it around freely, and as soon as you let go of it, the Pixi’s head is firmly locked into position.

Compact Light and Action A recent addition to the extensive Manfrotto line-up of tripods and monopods, the Compact series comprises three varieties: Light, Action and Advanced. Of these, the Light and Action models are available in four different colours – red, pink, white and black. As its name suggests, the Compact Light is a featherweight model that tips the scales at a mere 816g. Despite its light weight, it can support CSCs and lighter DSLRs up to 1.5kg, extends up to 1.31m and features a ball head for complete compositional freedom. The Compact Action, meanwhile, features a joystick head with an easy-to-use thumbwheel to securely lock the camera in position. The ultimate portable support solution, the Pocket is aptly named as it folds down so small that it will easily fit into a pocket or tiny corner of a gadget bag. In fact, it’s so small and light you could just leave it permanently attached to your camera so you never need worry about being without support. Despite being so small and light, the Pocket is a robust little unit with an all-metal construction and rubberised feet to prevent slipping.
