The MATIX system incorporates AlfaCOB and AlfaMIP to encapsulate LED modules, providing enhanced durability with reduced glare and improved colour uniformity. With a 175° viewing angle, 5000 nits of brightness and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, MATIX delivers exceptional performance in demanding environments. Alfalite also introduced the Neopix series for rental and broadcast, which offers pixel pitches from 1.5 to 3.9mm, high brightness
and a wide colour gamut. This technology is energy-efficient and reliable, making it ideal for professional production. The brand also showcased the UHD Finepix and Modularpix series, demonstrating the versatility of MATIX in control rooms and fixed installations.

N ew from Munich-based battery manufacturer bebob is the Green CUBE, a sustainable power solution for film and broadcast production. This portable, block-shaped battery uses sodium-ion technology, offering a promising alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries. Sodium is more abundant, easier to recycle and less harmful to extract than sodium, plus – unlike lithium-ion batteries – sodium-ion cells are less flammable, less prone to thermal overheating and safer to transport. With a capacity of 446Wh and a maximum load of 500W, the Green CUBE is suitable for powering cameras, lights and other demanding 24v applications on-set. It offers multiple output options, including USB-A, Twist D-Tap and XLR connectors, ensuring compatibility with various equipment.
