Greek Gods Fans of Greek food will be delighted to learn that The Athenian has officially launched in Cambridge, and is now available via Deliveroo. From humble beginnings as a London street food stall in 2014, this plucky brand has grown into one of the nation’s top takeaway firms, winning the coveted Deliveroo Restaurant of the Year award in 2020, and expanding across the country. Menu specialities include gyros (made the Athenian way) stuffed with chicken, pork or seitan, loaded with Greek herbs and served in a fluffy homemade pitta – while the courgette fritters, halloumi fries and tomato croquettes are unmissable sides.
