Wimpole Estate is offering activities for all ages to get visitors into the Christmas spirit
and create cherished memories with your nearest and dearest. Marvel at the exquisitely adorned Mansion House, complete with magnificent 10ft Christmas trees, beautiful handmade wreaths and our enchanting Lightfall installation positioned in the well of the Grand Staircase. The sounds of bells and carols will be circling the estate, with local choirs performing every weekend in December as part of the Christmas celebrations in the stable block. Sing along to Jingle Bells and other yuletide favourites for a nostalgic journey down memory lane and have your spirits lifted by the jolly tunes. Christmas is coming to Home Farm again this year. Immerse yourself in the delicate beauty of decorations in the Great Barn, see animals keeping warm and enjoy a hot chocolate from the cafe or step into the snug pods next to the picnic area. Lounge on rustic straw bale sofas while watching your little ones frolic to their hearts’ content in the farm playground. On the Roast Dinner trail, through the farm and garden, find all the ingredients for your roast dinner and learn about where your food comes from. Alternatively, head out into the parkland for a peaceful walk up to the famous folly. To end your visit, enjoy the festive treats offered in the Old Rectory or browse the shop to find excellent Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
