This product takes a novel approach to stabilisation and ergonomics by focusing on the comfort and support of the camera operator. It is designed to provide the user with a supported place to rest their elbow or forearm during long handheld shots, allowing them to operate smoothly while reducing fatigue, bodily strain and shake. “After years of working as a handheld camera operator in documentaries, sports and reality programming, I realised that I needed to develop a support system for myself in order to maintain my ability to keep
working day after day,” says Michael Ruggirello, the founder of Rigpacks. “I found that the supports available on the market were too bulky and disconnected me from the camera more than I liked. After hobbling together a prototype out of spare luggage straps and a melted snowboard binding, I had something that worked for me.” rigpacks.com SIGMA/ATOMOS Sigma and Atomos got together to pair the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame camera with the ultimate portable video monitor and recorder. The Sigma fp platform is being bundled in North America with Atomos’ Ninja V and Atomos Connect combo to provide a highly mobile film rig, with all your favourite focus and exposure tools alongside camera-to-cloud capability. atomos.com | sigma-global.com
