The SRH-3 and SRH-360 from Arri are both three-axis, fully stabilised remote heads that allow Arri’s cinema cameras to navigate the most complex shot lists with flexibility and ease. Be it on a cine set, in a TV studio or at an event, the SRH-3 and SRH-360 – together with digital controllers such as the DRW-1, DEH-1 and Master Grips – have the full force of Arri technology behind them. They can be combined with all Arri stabiliser accessories like SAM plates and external radio modules. The SRH-3 can be upgraded to the SRH-360 with the newly designed pan axis with slip ring.

Tiffen Tiffen has launched all-new Steadicam Zephyr and Aero sleds, which feature a fresh version of the Volt stabiliser. Previously, the Volt was applicable to the bigger rigs, but Tiffen has made these sleds fully integrate the Volt into the design. The existing Volt gives stabilisation to the roll and tilt axes, whereas the new three-axis Volt adds control to the pan axis too, opening up possibilities for smaller rig users. The new G-70X-2 arm has been redesigned from scratch. It features a tool-less, steel, flex-free arm connector with adjustable kick-back angle and a lighter kick-back spring, and a bearing interface for standard arm posts giving free rotation or solid lock-off. There’s a lower-profile upper arm link for additional clearance and comfort, and the lift and ride controls have been made easier to adjust, with moulded knobs spaced wider apart, and a 2:1 gear ratio on the lift knob. Now with all-metric hardware and lighter than its popular and successful G-70X predecessor, it raises the bar further.
