1. DAILY MAINTENANCE Taking a few minutes each day to wipe down the table or pick up toys will prevent the task and mess building up, becoming part of your daily routine 2. CLEAN AS YOU GO In the kitchen, wash used utensils and bowls while food is cooking 3. TIME YOURSELF Set a 15-minute timer and get as much done as possible. This works best just before the school run or work. That way, I have to stop in 15 minutes! 4. GET EVERYONE INVOLVED Make it fun for the kids, train the dog to put his toys away, delegate jobs to others. Don’t put all the pressure on yourself. If others can tidy, that’ll leave you more time to do the cleaning 5.
