SAVOUR & SIP

A monthly round-up of delicious happenings around Cambridgeshire

ALFRESCO FAVOURITE With spring in full swing, local foodie hotspot Provenance will be reopening its stunning outdoor dining area at Brix + Mortar. Situated in a grassy meadow to the right of this Whittlesford restaurant’s main entrance, the focal point is a large stretch tent from Cambridge Tent Company. With ample capacity, this spacious area seats roughly 100 people, with space for many more in the main garden and courtyard (at the rear of the restaurant). The Provenance team also has a host of events up its sleeve. Follow for more info and announcements @provenancekitchen and stay tuned at provenancekitchen.com

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

If you haven’t paid a visit already, head on down to King Street to see the new and improved St Radegund pub. The Rad, as it is now known, may be Cambridge’s smallest pub, but it boasts an extensive selection of beverages with its 25-line craft beer taproom. Though its offering is primarily beer- focused, with an emphasis on keg beers sourced from small, independent producers, The Rad pours a superb selection of ciders, wines and spirits.
