The shoulder harness feels generously padded without being bulky, while the ventilated back panel makes the bag comfortable during longer carries. Even when fully loaded with camera gear and a laptop, the weight distribution remains impressive. A nice touch is the front panel. Rather than covering the bag with fixed attachment loops, it allows the exterior to be customised with accessories, keeping the clean minimalist appearance intact. Unlike many camera backpacks that are clearly designed around shooting first and everything else second, the Uncover feels like an everyday backpack that simply happens to excel at carrying cameras.

Available in 24-litre and 30-litre versions, these look far more like premium commuter backpacks than traditional camera luggage. The clean lines, subtle branding and modern styling wouldn’t look out of place in a coffee shop, airport lounge or office, yet inside they are designed around the needs of hybrid creators. Its cleverness starts with the internal compartments and expandable roll-top design. The bag can carry camera kit, clothing, a laptop or even all three. The roll- top expands when extra capacity is needed before compressing back down to maintain a slim profile when travelling lighter. Inside is a removable camera insert. Take it out and the Uncover instantly becomes an
everyday backpack. Drop it back in and it is ready to carry a mirrorless camera, lenses and accessories. That flexibility makes far more sense than owning separate bags. Access is equally well thought out. Side openings allow cameras to be reached without fully removing the backpack and numerous internal compartments keep batteries, cables and accessories organised. There is even a discreet Airtag pocket, offering a little extra peace of mind. The exterior uses Manfrotto’s new three-layer fabric, which combines a refined appearance with durability and water-resistance.
