The flight stuff The Think Tank Airport series has been redesigned to squeeze serious camera kits into airline-friendly luggage. The four-model range gains tougher materials, improved harnesses and smarter organisation, with laptop and tablet storage moved to a rear- access panel on most models. New internal dividers separate camera kit from travel essentials, while zipped side pockets secure tripods or bottles. Capacities range from the 26L Airport Essentials, which accommodates up to five lenses, to the 41L Airport Accelerator, capable of swallowing a 600mm f⁄4. Rigged and ready for Peak action The humble camera L-bracket has had a total rethink with Peak Design’s new Field Bracket. It’s a modular system with a camera-specific recycled-aluminium baseplate that uses the new Field Latch mechanism, allowing its upright section to be attached, removed or repositioned in seconds without tools. That’s handy for switching to portrait tripod shooting or making room for cables. Optional modules include a Cheese Plate for mounting monitors, microphones and lights, plus a Hand Strap and ingenious Beacon Finder Tag tracker that hides inside the Arca-compatible plate.
