ARRI Rental opens new lighting & grip facility in Vienna
A RRI Rental has expanded its service offering in Vienna with a new 750 sq m facility dedicated to lighting and grip equipment. This addition complements the existing ARRI Rental Vienna office, which will continue to provide camera equipment packages. Located at 7 Haidequerstraße 6, adjacent to the state-of-the-art hq7 studios, the facility will offer convenient access to major transport hubs and the
city centre. The hq7 studios, poised to become a premier European production centre, will further boost Austria’s appeal to international film and TV productions. Headed by Andreas Buchschachner, with lighting expert Ingo Gaertner, the facility will offer the latest ARRI lighting fixtures such as SkyPanel X and Orbiter, as well as ARRI Rental exclusives such as the modular BrikLok LED lights, all-terrain
HEXATRON crane vehicle and compact Hover Dolly with versatile Delta Tracks. Buchschachner comments: “By expanding our presence in Vienna, we are demonstrating our belief in the city as a major European production hub. We have been renting equipment in Vienna for many years and have strong relationships here – we are proud to be supporting the local industry as it continues to grow.”
