There’s even a fully licensed bar and cafe on the campsite, selling a wide range of drinks and snacks. “We want to support local businesses, so most of the things we offer in the cafe are produced nearby,” adds Steph. “For example, our coffee is ground in Littleport, we stock juices blended and bottled in Cambridge, our beer is brewed about a mile away and crisps and ice cream are all produced locally.” As well as supporting regional producers, the farm also prides itself on taking care of the environment through a range of sustainable practices, from using compostable or reusable plates, knives, and forks at events, to the provision of composting toilets that help save tens of thousands of gallons of fresh water each year. The business is also fully powered by a solar generator installed on top of the farmhouse – eco warriors can rest easy!
