summer offers energetic fledglings; autumn introduces sweeping migratory patterns and winter provides crisp light with bare branches, making species- spotting easier than ever. Flocks of subjects are waiting just outside your front door, and this feature will arm you with all the info necessary to take your bird photography to the next level.
Instead of simply capturing a view, as with landscape photography, you are immortalising a fleeting moment of wild behaviour – be it a split-second wing sweep, a bird of prey pouncing or a mid-air territorial clash.
