A diverse range of photographers and subjects star at the busy Sevenoaks gallery

A diverse collection of images will be centre stage when the

Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Art Gallery in Kent hosts two new exhibitions this summer. The first runs until 18 July and features portraits by Roger Lee of 29 distinguished artists working in Kent and Sussex, accompanied by examples of work from these artists. It highlights pieces from the artists photographed in their places of work, and offers a unique opportunity to look inside what are usually private spaces of creativity. Then the Sevenoaks Camera Club stages its annual free exhibition at the gallery from 22 July to 1 August. This free exhibition will showcase work from the club’s 55 members, ranging from complete beginners to experienced photographers with a wide variety of subjects and styles. Prints will be on display throughout the exhibition, while entries from the club’s digital photography section will be shown on a TV screen on Saturdays, when members will also be on hand to provide information about the club’s activities. In addition to the main display, the gallery will also feature photographs taken at local events. After the exhibition concludes, the club’s new season will begin on 7 September, offering regular meetings, guest speakers and opportunities for photographers of all experience levels to develop their skills and share their passion for image making. svaf.co.uk sevenoakscameraclub.org.uk
