Since then, I believe the demand for online content has continued to grow – so I’ve launched MyPhotoClub. Initially, it will offer weekly Zoom meetings with UK and international speakers (£3.75 per talk) and an active Facebook group.” Newsletters, meet-ups and contests are being planned. Some members of Thanet CC have gone back in time. The club’s analogue group uses a variety of cameras – from a 5x4in format to pinhole. They have enjoyed processing meet-ups, field trips and cyanotype workshops. An iconic location in Kent is the shingle beach at Dungeness with its many huts. This photograph by David James Silk was captured on an HP3 glass plate manufactured in 1950, but exposed and developed in 2022!
