SHOW HIGHLIGHTS the flagship Vortex Series, SpaceX and Micro fixtures. On display was an impressive array of Vortex8 lights rigged by the new LNX mounting system. LNX introduces a streamlined way for gaffers to connect multiple Vortex fixtures with a series of purpose- built clamps and pins. Rigging and cabling is faster and, most importantly, safer for operators and anyone under the rig. You can build with practically unlimited numbers of units – the only limit is the ability to lift the rig. The latest CreamOS firmware upgrades for the Vortex series are now fully supported with CRMX2, and with additional control via DMX, users can get more creative with effects. SONY Sony displayed a wide range of its cinema-line products, including the Venice 2 with Rialto 2 extension and the interchangeable lens PTZ, the FR7. The FX9, FX6 and FX3 cameras were also on display alongside the BVM monitors and a range of audio products.
