ne of the biggest developments in the world of kitchens has been the rise of outdoor cooking and dining. According to the

Atlas Kitchen Trends Index 2022, a desire to rustle up an alfresco feast has inspired over two million Google searches this year, more than 70 million views of related TikTok videos – and nearly half a million instances of the phrase as an Instagram hashtag. This is almost certainly down to our hot summer, which made the whole enterprise seem much more appealing, as well as our experiences with lockdowns. These created an urgency for sprucing up outdoor spaces – and saw gardening and garden furniture of all kinds enjoy a boom.
