Sony full-frame mirrorless users will love the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 lens, newly improved in five key ways. First is superior image quality, while maintaining a compact, lightweight design. Better close-up performance comes second, with a minimum object distance of 0.18m at the wide end. Lexar agrees, with the Professional 1800x SDXC UHS-II Gold Series and Professional USB-C Dual-Slot Reader for SD and microSD. With capacities between 64GB and 1TB for the pro card, the highest offering boasts 280MB/s read and 205MB/s write speeds. Lexar’s plug-and-play Dual-Slot Reader is compatible with USB 3.1 and 2.0 ports, features a compact design, plus an LED activity light to indicate when data transfer is complete. Weighing just 25g, a two- year limited warranty is available. Also compact, with a 27cm folded length, and lightweight at 0.72kg, is the Leofoto Ranger LS-223C tabletop tripod and LH-25 ball head. With a 10.5cm minimum working height and 6kg load capacity, the ten-layer carbon construction tripod offers a ten-year warranty. And the included ball head is just as flexible. It can be rotated 360° horizontally and 90° vertically – adjusted via a wing nut. With a universal 1/4-inch tripod screw, an Arca-compatible PU-25 quick-release plate is also included. For artificial light, the go-to is the Broncolor Pulso L 3200 J lamp and Satos 3200 J power pack. This is capable of being used as a flash, continuous or mixed light, with settings adjusted via the lamp itself or a clever Broncontrol app. When used as a continuous light, a colour temperature of 2800 to 6800K is selectable. Boasting high-quality protective glass, a metal guide ring can be removed as required.
