BREAKING CONVENTION WITH
FEED attends as many media tech trade shows as it can. This spring, Mobile World Congress, NAB and Broadcast Asia were all on our to-do list. You’re bound to return from a trade show with some kind of virus at the best of times, so shutting down the M&E trade show circuit fast and early, just as the coronavirus crisis was only beginning to escalate, was a no-brainer. While some people were wondering if Covid-19 was as dangerous as people were making it out to be, forward- thinking vendors and technology companies were taking no chances with the safety of their employees, the industry or the rest of the world. What this has meant, though, is tech vendors haven’t had the platform to show off their gear and services in the way they normally would. FEED decided one good option would be to provide a ‘trade
show in a magazine’ and give those companies the opportunity to get their news in front of all those people who would normally see them on the trade show floors. FEED:SHOW is something of a ‘show daily’ – a magazine highlighting who’s who and what’s what under the convention centre roof, except this convention centre is the whole world and the show has no end date. So, grab yourself an imaginary tote bag made of recycled materials and enjoy strolling the aisles of FEED:SHOW. And take some time to stop and talk with the vendors – they’ve made a lot of great stuff just for you!
