support outside broadcasts, it will be deployed for London-based projects to assess performance and inform further electrification of the company’s fleet. The Volvo FE Electric truck delivers a significant reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional diesel vehicles, producing 96% less CO2 and 98% less NOx than HVO-fuelled Volvo FE diesel trucks. With zero tailpipe emissions, it contributes to keeping air clean. This addition to the large fleet of over 65 commercial vehicles contributes to EMG/Gravity Media’s commitment to the TV and broadcast industry’s transition to a greener future.

Brompton powers Malaysian VP studio

Established in 1998, FINAS Studios is a cornerstone of Malaysia’s film industry. The complex features three studios for the use of film industry professionals: a flagship 790 sq m space and two smaller 97 sq m studios. In response to industry evolution, FINAS transitioned from its green-screen set-up to a fully integrated VP system for better compatibility with all the latest filmmaking technology and practices.

(FINAS) has made significant advances in the nation’s film industry. Its ICVFX VP studio, equipped with Brompton Technology’s Tessera LED video processors, is located in Ampang Jaya and was upgraded last year. It is now fully operational; a modern facility to meet the growing demands of filmmakers and content creators in Malaysia.

ON CLOUD NINE BCNEXXT is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver automated deployment of cloud resources within Vipe. Unlike traditional systems that rely on fixed allocated resources like virtual machines, Vipe leverages advanced AWS cloud-native features. This revolutionary approach minimises resource usage and keeps costs to a minimum.

GALWAY GALES CJP Broadcast Service Solutions built a new green-screen studio for TG4, the major Irish-language broadcaster based in Galway. It had a very small space for its weather forecasts, and in an open tender process, CJP suggested greater flexibility was achievable with a 5x3m L-shaped screen and walls curving through a 400mm radius into the green floor.

DESKS AND DISPLAYS Custom Consoles has completed a large Module-R control desk and Media Wall video display mount for a demo suite at Grass Valley’s Polish sales and support facility. Module-R desks offer freedom in size and configuration, and can be modified or expanded throughout their working life. The Krakow-based premises are one of Grass Valley’s four EMEA sites.
