o achieve controlled and repeatable movement is high on the wish list of many camera support developers; but unfortunately when you introduce the human element you also have to deal with an irregularity of movement which of course in most cases is essential. The advertising world has been involved heavily with the search for this kind of controlled and almost immediately repeatable demand. There are products like ARRI’s Trinity and Motion Impossible’s vehicles that are promising consistent repeatable movement in their technical road maps. But it is the pure robots that are winning the business at the moment. (MRMC) and its various robots have been leaders in the camera robotics field for many years and the recent buyout by Nikon shows that their ambition is to widen their market from their traditional film and broadcast sectors. To that end they have introduced Bolt Junior; or JR as they call it. The MRMC Bolt JR has been developed in response to customer need for a MR MOCO Mark Roberts Motion Control
