On one production, we lit a scene inside a transport container, with an exposed B7c overhead and two MCs inside fake bulkhead fixtures. “Film lighting is all about speed, practicality and budget. There are many methods to create almost any effect, but if you can do it in ways that check all three of those boxes, everyone will be happy. That is what LEDs are now facilitating,” he concludes.
