REFRESHING SKY SPORT NZ AE Live Ignite has developed a fresh visual identity for Sky Sport New Zealand. This look will feature across all locally produced sports broadcasts and debuted during the opening round of Sky Super Rugby Aupiki. Named First Light, the new design draws its inspiration from rays of sunlight illuminating Mount Hikurangi. Light plays a fundamental part of the coverage, serving as a focal point for key on- screen graphics. Serena Williams has joined the ownership group of Toronto Tempo, Canada’s first WNBA team. She partners with Larry Tanenbaum – NBA Board of Governors chair – and Kilmer Sports Ventures. Set to debut in 2026, Tempo will be the WNBA’s 14th team.
