A MONTHLY ROUND-UP OF DELICIOUS HAPPENINGS AROUND CAMBRIDGESHIRE

MIDDLE FEAST

LITTLE PETRA Last year proved to be a golden one for foodie favourite Little Petra, which was named best Middle Eastern restaurant in the East of England. It has also received a Gold Seal as a result of receiving the Good Food award for three consecutive years – as well as a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice award (putting it in the top 10% of restaurants around the world). To meet growing footfall, owners Yaseen and Katherine have made the decision to relocate Little Petra from Mill Road to larger premises on Hills Road, close to the train station and Botanic Garden. “We’ve loved our time on Mill Road and look forward to seeing our regular customers at our new location,” says Yaseen. “We started small so we could introduce people to authentic, traditional Jordanian food. Despite a number of challenges in our first three years, including lockdown and road closures, we’ve seen that serving excellent food made with care is the key to growth.” On top of tripling its capacity, Little Petra’s menu will be growing to include some traditional meat dishes. Visit littlepetra.co.uk to check out the food on offer and get in touch about booking.
