Judges will pick three shortlisted entries per category, with a winner for each and a final overall grand prize winner, all based on originality, creativity, cinematography and post-production. Shortlisted entries will receive a £200 CVP voucher, and overall category winners get an additional £500 voucher. The grand prize winner also receives a Canon EOS C80 and RF 24- 70mm f/2.8L, plus a Tilta Pro Filmmaker Kit worth over £1500 and a one-day on- set experience with a judge of their choice. On top of this, CVP and Canon are thrilled to announce that all shortlisted entrants will be invited to a special event at CVP Fitzrovia on Thursday 24 April 2025. This will be followed by a screening of the films during the exclusive awards ceremony held at a prestigious London venue, once again hosted by British television presenter Alex Zane. Stories in Motion is the brainchild of CVP, one of Europe’s leading resellers and providers of pro video and broadcast solutions, and Canon UK & Ireland, which has backed the competition since launch. 2025 edition addresses a popular medium for young filmmakers with the commercial category joining classes for documentary, music video and fictional short. Individuals aged 18 to 25 with a passion for storytelling and cinematography are invited to participate. Submit up to four films corresponding to each of the four categories, and your work will be judged by a panel of seasoned filmmakers. The competition is accepting entries from now until 31 March 2025 and offers the chance to win stunning prizes like a Canon EOS C80 camera, vouchers to spend
