Forging the future Legal-financial services firm Tees reveals its bold new branding, designed to reflect its growth and ambition

T ees has launched its new brand and financial services firm. The updated look isn’t just cosmetic, it reflects the firm’s evolution to meet the needs of a wider client base – individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners – through expert legal advice, clear communication and joined-up financial planning. New offices in Royston and plans for an expanded space in Saffron Walden will support its future growth and improve access for clients across the region. “We’re investing in our communities and responding to how clients want to work today,” Ashton adds. “That means improved spaces, better access and more joined-up services.” The firm has a national reputation in private client services – particularly in wills, probate and agricultural law – and is trusted by generations of farming and landowning families. Its expertise in land, succession and employment law continues to be sought after across the UK. At the same time, Tees’ commercial practice has grown rapidly. Its corporate and commercial teams advise on high-value deals, often for owner-managed and scaling businesses. The firm’s lawyers work closely with its in-house, FCA-authorised financial advisers to deliver holistic support. “There’s growing demand for seamless advice that covers both legal and financial needs,” says Lucy Folley, partner and head of corporate and commercial. “That demand comes from across the country, not just our region. Our new brand makes it clear what we offer.” Tees is also investing in technology to enhance client services and improve efficiency, but people remain central to its growth plans. “Our independence and values are what help us attract great people and build lasting client relationships,” Ashton says. “We’re focused on promoting sustainable growth, as well as a strong culture of being a great place to work.”

2020 to more than £30 million in 2024, with a target of £35 million in 2025. The firm is aiming to nearly double that, to £60 million by 2028. Its team has also expanded from fewer than 300 people to more than 400, including 28 partners. “This is a statement of our ambition,” says managing director Ashton Hunt. “We’ve grown from a strong private client base into a firm that supports complex commercial transactions and integrated legal-financial advice.
