SUMMER BEAUTY BUYS PAMPER YOURSELF WITH SOME LUSH NEW PRODUCTS – FROM SUN-SAFE SPF TO CLEVER, COLOUR-CORRECTING BRONZING POWDER

ESPA OPTIMAL SKIN NUTRIENT MIST, £26 A spritz of this wonder spray will revitalise you on a hot day, as well as delivering a dose of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. Active ingredients such as carrot oil and pearl algae work to purify, tone and brighten skin, and as well as doubling as a refreshing spray while you’re out and about, it can be used to prime the face and as a setting spray after makeup application. As with all ESPA products, the fragrance is heavenly, but mostly we adore it for the dewy, healthy glow it delivers – what’s not to love?

NIVEA SUN PROTECT CARING LIP BALM SPF 30, £2.99 A gorgeous scent, a touch of tint and a bargain price make this Nivea lip balm a no-brainer of a beauty buy. It provides mega moisture, is packed with nourishing jojoba oil, and you won’t get a better value-for-money lip balm, in our humble opinion.

ILLAMASQUA COLOUR CORRECTING BRONZER £34

SEPAI CITY SHIELD SPF 50, £36.20 To reduce the risk of skin cancer and minimise premature ageing, dermatologists agree that we ought to be wearing SPF every day – and Sepai’s City Shield is one of the hardest-working and most advanced out there. It’s ultra-lightweight and absorbs beautifully, moisturising and giving a glow without clogging pores, while also delivering SPF 50 and defence against the effects of sunlight and environmental pollution.

Bronzing powders are great in principle (who

doesn’t want a sun-kissed glow?), but often deliver an unappealing orange pallor. Not so with the Illamasqua Colour Correcting Bronzer. The stripe of green powder looks scary, but works to neutralise redness and balance skin tone, creating a natural, gorgeously bronzed effect. One to convert even the most committed of English roses.

TRANSFORMULAS FLAWLESS PHOTOGLOW SPF 30+, £55 This multitasking moisturiser has been winning glowing reviews from beauty bloggers – and here’s why. As well as protecting your skin with SPF, it gives you a megawatt glow, lightens dark spots and boosts radiance while hydrating, smoothing and softening your skin. It contains loads of goodies, including squalane, vitamins, antioxidants and the patented Cosmetic Drone technology, which delivers ingredients to the cells that need themmost. The product behaves well under makeup, and also has a cumulative effect, giving a full-time boost to the luminosity of your skin within a couple of weeks.

HUDA RETROGRADE PALETTE, £58 Looking for the perfect summer eyeshadows? The stars have aligned with the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette – a cosmic collection of 18 fresh and fabulous shades, offering infinite possibilities for your peepers. Buttery mattes in cool blues and rosy pinks, pops of purple and turquoise, creamy metallics and holographic glitters make this the ultimate all-rounder, whether you’re off to a festival, party, or just a picnic in the park.
