Gravity Media served as host broadcasting team for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, held in Fukuoka, Japan. The traditionally biennial tournament combines six water sports: swimming, diving, high diving, open water swimming, artistic swimming and water polo. Forty-four Gravity Media team members gathered on the ground to capture this prestigious international event. Over 2000 athletes from 195 nations competed across

all six sports, with Gravity Media there to capture each one in all its glory. As such, Gravity Media provided quality control, non-linear editing and streaming, archive and media management throughout the tournament, including full coverage of the opening ceremony. Gravity Media adds the 2023 World Aquatics Championships to its repertoire of water-based events, which also includes the 2022 World Aquatics Championships,

the 2022 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) and the 2020 CAS Swimming Championships. Gravity Media also covered the 2023 Laver Cup – an annual men’s tennis tournament – for the sixth year in a row. As the event’s executive broadcast partner, it travelled to the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, deploying three OB vans and several speciality and RF cameras to capture the indoor action.
