Nanlite FC moves up a division

Both lights boast a TLCI rating of 98 and CRI rating of 96 for beautiful skin tones and consistent colour reproduction. They have a new, lighter style and come in lightweight foam cases that can be used to transport and store them. The FC-500B retails for £795/$699, and the FC-300B for £545/$479.

Nanlite’s latest FC series bi-colour spotlights are the 500W FC-500B and 300W FC-300B. They have lightweight heads with built-in controls, separate power adapters and lots of features that are usually only found on more advanced lights. These include glass-protected COBs, smart fan modes, constant and maximum output modes and quick-press jumping to popular colour temperatures in CCT mode. The FC-500B even has dimming in 0.1% increments, while both lights can be controlled via locking 3.5mm DMX ports, Bluetooth and 2.4G Wi-Fi. The lights have Bowens mounts but also include integrated umbrella mounts. The yokes allow 360° rotation and feature single- sided, step-less locks.

The latest Nanlite PavoTube II XR LED pixel tubes now have built-in CRMX, which allows wireless control of animated pixel effects, bi-colour and RGB hues, with the ability to be bright enough to be used as a key light, or dim enough to be used in frame. The XR series is durable thanks to its metal construction and sweeps frequencies to find the best transmission. The 2ft 15XR, 4ft 30XR and 8ft 60XR are available. All kits come with power supplies that both charge internal batteries and power the lights continuously. The £425/$399 15XR and £595/$579 30XR are supplied with rigging accessories all contained in a padded carrying case. The £2095/$1999 60XR comes in the same flight case as the older 60X, featuring foam cut-outs, swivel casters, recessed hand grips, wheel plates for stacking and additional accessories. nanlite.com PAVOTUBE XR GETS WIRELESS UPGRADE
