Despite the undeniable challenges of lockdown, one provider has recorded a record number of students enrolling on advanced courses as a way of working towards a full-time place at university, updating or adding to professional skills, with a variety of subjects ranging from creative writing to social sciences. With the appetite for learning continuing unabated despite (or even because of) lockdown, the challenge is to ensure that courses work for everyone in terms of interests, ability and finance.
