Portman Wordward Cambridge is a friendly, successful and thriving independent college. This year, however, that environment has taken a different form. MPW has adapted seamlessly to the demands of today’s world of education with face-to-face, online and blended classes. This ensures the students who are unable to attend college in person receive the highest standard of teaching and learning virtually, alongside their peers in the physical classroom. However, the underpinning values that make MPW such a special place to learn have remained unchanged. A degree of informality outside the classroom is balanced by an intensive teaching approach within the classroom, where each tutor shares the common objective of helping students to succeed and, when necessary, goes that extra mile to do so.
