AUDIO MONITORING FOR LIVE PRODUCTION Live broadcast systems

integrator NEP Group has been using TSL Products’ MPA1 units as its audio monitoring solution for live broadcasts. TSL introduced the MPA1 V Series to address the requirements of live production, and NEP has integrated MPA1 MIX MADI-V audio monitor to improve operator workflow in outside broadcasts. Based on the success of TSL’s MPA1 MIX series of audio monitors, the new MPA1 MIX V range has been developed to specifically address the challenges of live production. As a response to customer feedback, TSL’s MPA1 MIX V features a redesigned user interface available in SDI, DANTE/AES67, MADI, AES and analogue input formats. With the addition of the V variant, TSL MPA1 customers have the option to choose an interface that best suits their production needs. NEP has installed the MPA1 MIX MADI-V in two of its OB trucks, with plans to use the units for other projects going forward. NEP is building several other

The left-to-right ascending order of the knobs is very user- friendly, as the operator can easily find the channel they need without having to look directly at the panel.
