A bottomless start to 2025
Back by popular demand, Scott’s All Day on Mill Road is offering its bottomless dinner package for New Year’s Eve. Dishes will include tasty chicken parmigiana and tartiflette pizza – a special collaboration with local cheese expert Rennet & Rind. Three courses will cost £29.50 per person, with the option to add the bottomless drinks package – unlimited prosecco on tap, bottled lager or house wine – for an extra £20 per person, to welcome 2025 in celebratory style.
WINTER TREATS LAUNCHED AT HEAVENLY DESSERTS Two indulgent new desserts and three limited-time holiday beverages are being launched at Heavenly Desserts in Christ’s Lane, Cambridge. Available until 31 January, the menu includes salted butterscotch and walnut cookie dough served with cinnamon gelato, topped with honeycomb and a hot caramel sauce; a caramel and almond blondie topped with gingerbread custard and served with fresh raspberries and a mini amaretti; a spiced caramel waffle latte with whipped cream and dusted with cinnamon; a gingerbread white hot chocolate infused with gingerbread syrup, with whipped cream and a sprinkling of speculoos crumbs; and a macadamia hot chocolate infused with macadamia syrup and covered in whipped cream and caramelised hazelnuts. “Our unique selection of drinks and desserts capture the rich, comforting flavours of the season,” claims Yousif Aslam, co-founder and managing director. “Our goal is to bring people together in a warm, inviting setting. World-renowned German home appliance manufacturer Miele has opened a dedicated Experience Centre at the Grand Arcade. This will be Miele’s eighth retail store in the UK. “Our mission is to create quality products that are built to last and improve customers’ lives,” says Managing Director John Pickering. “We believe longevity is the ultimate sustainability.” A special Christmas-themed demo will be held at the store on Saturday 30 November between 10am and 4pm.
