MAKE A WRAPPING PAPER ENVELOPE

1. Firstly, measure one sheet of paper to size depending on your gift – the more oversized, the more versatile. 2. Fold your paper in half horizontally. To add more depth to the envelope, fold a seam along each side of the paper – if using Curlicue paper, our cutting lines act as a guide for this. 3. Do all your folds first to make things more efficient in the long run, beginning with the seams and then the back of the envelope. 4. To create the back, fold a square and a half’s worth of paper, leaving space for the top part of the envelope that will fold down. 5. For the top of the envelope, leave a bit of space between where the paper will need to fold down. Along the top part, make two traditional corner folds on each side, then a small fold along the top line for a cleaner finish. 6. Stick down each fold. For this, use our double-sided tape – since it’s plastic free, it’s easy to rip. As you work your way along the folds, try to get the tape as close to the edge as you can for a neater look. 7. Stick the top corners down last – remember to leave a little gap so you can fold it over easily. Finally, pop a little piece of tape on the top fold ready to stick down once you’ve placed your gift inside.
