DUBAI FOUNTAIN GOES DIGITAL
“This is probably the most interesting project we’ve done in a long time,” commented John Joseph, director of Blue Rhine Industries. “A digital hoarding of almost half a kilometre long isn’t something you hear about every day.” Infiled stepped in to help transform the promenade into a breathtaking digital experience. Spanning 440m in length and standing three metres high, the temporary LED display is now the longest digital screen in the world – and was designed, manufactured and installed in under 60 days.
Set against the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk is always a hub of tourist activity. With the fountains set to go through a long stretch of renovation, developer Emaar sought to ensure the atmosphere of the popular area would remain uninterrupted during the six months of construction. Working closely with Dubai- based system integrator Blue Rhine Industries, Infiled was tasked with providing a solution to maintain engagement at one of the city’s most-visited tourist sites.
