market – but should be celebrated for their technology or how much of a splash the launch made. In both our launch of the year and innovation categories, the DJI Ronin 4D Flex and Inspire 3 drone are nominated, since they bring full cinematic quality to a completely new market. The launch of the year class includes cinema cameras such as the Red Komodo-X and V-Raptor XL, hybrid cameras like the Canon EOS R5 C and R6 II, Fujifilm X-T5, Nikon Z 8 and Panasonic S5 II X as well as Sony FX30 and ZV-E1. In the innovation of the year class, cloud technology features in Avid’s new Stream IO, which faces a whole range of hardware. There are batteries, a wireless timecode- enabled slate, drones, XLR audio adapters, headphones, lights and lots more. There are many nominees and all are very different to each other. So have your say and vote for who you think should be the winners in the Pro Moviemaker Gear of the Year Awards 2023.
