We are looking for originality, FUTURE FILMMAKER RECOGNISING THE VOICES OF TOMORROW A film comes together in the edit. It’s the stage where structure is refined, pacing is defined and emotion is shaped. The Filmmaker of the Year award for editing celebrates the craft of post- production across all forms and genres of filmmaking. The best entries will show how editing elevates the shot material, whether it’s through rhythm, narrative clarity, creative transitions or integration of sound and colour. It also includes the use of visual effects, from subtle enhancements to more complex compositing and CGI.
