In the Cambridgeshire countryside sits the delightful 23-seat Pear and Olive Scratch Kitchen, from celebrity and Michelin-rated chef, Gael Lecolley. As the name suggests, everything is from scratch, and the chef delights in the ‘farm to fork’ concept, using fresh herbs from his garden while scouring local purveyors for fresh ingredients. Gael has cooked for Oprah and Anthony Hopkins, to name just a few! The menus often create a story around an experience, such as the February ‘love at first bite’ nine-course menu. Plus, the ‘market fresh’ daily menu highlights local products and makes for incredibly tasty cuisine.

Pho is a traditional Vietnamese street food restaurant which takes its name from pho – the famous Vietnamese noodle soup. Pho is situated on Wheeler Street, in the centre of the city. Popular with tourists, students and locals alike, Pho is well known for its soups (with home-made 12-hour broths), healthy salads, tasty curries and hearty rice bowls. It also offers a huge mix of amazing starters, which are perfect for sharing, as well as juices, teas, cocktails and beers. Pho’s menu is over a third vegan, and the restaurant is accredited by Coeliac UK, meaning there are gluten-free options, too!
