Hot Rocket Arriving to make its mark on Cambridge’s buzzing street food scene, Hot Rocket is on its way to an event near you. Focusing on sensational sarnies made with top-quality ingredients, the menu includes a fish finger sandwich with crispy cod fingers, pickled samphire and tartar sauce, as well as a Reuben sandwich complete with salt beef, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and cheese on rye bread. On the side, enjoy fries and the mysteriously named fighter potatoes. “Food unites us; it’s a chance to bring people together,” claims founder Andrew. “At the heart of good food is great produce, and we pride ourselves on working with local artisans and farmers to bring the best products straight to you.” NEW OPENING!

On 24 June, The Willow Tree pub in Bourn will host a ‘brunch bop’ in its meadow tipi, promising DJs, dancing, flowing drinks and great food from 1-4pm. The menu features rosemary focaccia with pea hummus, summer salmon niçoise and lemon meringue tart. Drinks include a passion fruit bellini and summer punch. BRUNCH BOP AT THE WILLOW TREE DON’T MISS!

FLAT IRON TO OPEN IN CAMBRIDGE Stylish steakhouse Flat Iron is on the cusp of opening a Cambridge branch, in the building previously home to Natwest on Market Street. Doors are expected to open in July, when diners will be able to enjoy a menu of lip-smacking steaks and sides including beef dripping chips, creamed spinach, bone marrow garlic mash and truffled mac and cheese.
