NATIONAL LEAGUE

DAZN has launched National League TV, the new home for National League, National League North and National League South in the UK and over 200 markets globally. National League TV is available as a stand-alone subscription through DAZN, much like its NFL Game Pass arrangement. All 557 National League games will be made available on the service at prices of £10 for a week pass, £24.99 for a month pass or £18.99 a month for fans that agree to an annual subscription.

ATP BRINGS IMMERSIVE TO TENNIS

ATP Media, the global media and distribution arm of the ATP Tour, announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Play Anywhere. With requirements of robust sports data integration capabilities, along with a tight turnaround time for both graphics package creative services and graphics system implementation, Victory+ selected Chyron Prime. “When the decision was made to create a free, fan-centric experience for Dallas Stars fans, we had to build a complete network from scratch in record time,” said Jason Walsh, chief operating officer, sports for APMC. To date, Victory+ carries local Dallas Stars hockey games and recently signed the Anaheim Ducks weeks before the NHL pre-season started. As the service grows to cover other teams, the Victory+ production team can rely on Chyron Prime for flexible, scalable content with easily adaptable colours, logos and team roster data.

TEEING OFF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS Intinor, Sweden’s leading developer of products and solutions for high-quality video over the internet, collaborated with Flip Up Collective to deliver live streaming of all the action from the 2024 Swedish Disc Golf Championships. Camera operators with Direkt link backpack units provided seamless coverage of the three-km-long, heavily wooded white course at Ale Disc Golf Centre, north of Gothenburg. Healthnews recently found Samsung has filed a patent application for a movement tracker designed to elevate workout experiences by providing real-time feedback in three-dimensional space. The system features integrated antennae that track wearables, enabling real-time feedback of users’ movements. According to the patent, the device could introduce wearables like watches, glasses and a head-mounted display (HMD).

DANISH COVERAGE

Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s largest media systems integration groups, has built a new remote production facility, housed in a shopping mall in Copenhagen, for use by DMC Production. The facility has been crafted to provide excellent remote coverage of all top-flight professional football in Denmark.
