The app is used via Apple Photos, and to make a book you simply create a new project, fill it with the pictures you want to use, then select to export it as a book using the Mimeo extension. Sizes and layouts can then be decided in square or landscape formats. The landscape books come in 11x8.5in or 13x10in, while the square formats cover 8x8in. Choosing frommore than 50 preset themes and page layouts, you can simply drag and drop photos into spaces in the layout, add text, borders and patterns, and choose different cover designs to suit your project. Within the layout options is a neat Rearrange Layout button that shuffles the selection to see what looks best. Or you can make your own layouts completely from scratch. Available in sizes from 19x15cm up to 38x29cm, and in a variety of portrait, landscape and square formats, the lay-flat design means you can print images very large across a spread and not worry about losing detail in the fold or gutter.
