However, focus breathing does rear its head. There is a useful focus hold button on the lens, and an AF/MF switch. And the aperture ring can be de-clicked for smooth and silent exposure changes while shooting. If you want a flagship 50mm AF prime lens to get the best out of your Sony mirrorless, this is it.
