S o, you’ve made a film. You’ve worked tirelessly, from idea development to post-production, and you finally have a finished product you’re proud to share. How do you get it in front of audiences? The commercial side of film – known as distribution – can be convoluted. Which route you take will depend on factors like time, funding and expertise. If you have ample knowledge of marketing, self-distribution is a viable option. If not, there are plenty of other ways to secure some screen time.
