NEW COCO-VMICRO2 ADAPTER FROM BEBOB M unich-based battery manufacturer Bebob has expanded its product portfolio with the release of the Coco- Vmicro2 adapter. Designed for V-Mount cine cameras, including the new Sony BURANO, this versatile adapter allows for seamless battery replacement during camera operation through its innovative hot-swap function. The Coco-Vmicro2 functions as a junction box, featuring multiple outputs for accessories and doubling as a charging station with an integrated D-Tap connector. The adapter, based on two V-Mount plates, supports Vmicro batteries of varying capacities, automatically activating the second battery when the first is depleted. Five-stage LED indicators on both sides provide easy monitoring of charge status. Weighing just 620g, the compact Coco-Vmicro2 also serves as a charging hub for connected batteries on the camera, making it an essential tool for minimally equipped cine cameras. Bebob has also released a Gold Mount-compatible version of the same designed to maximise the camera’s functionality and enhance its versatility in any cinematography application.
