Vizrt has officially launched Viz Libero 8.2, the latest version of its sports analysis tool. The update introduces Vizrt Datacenter, new visualisation functionality, Transparent AR and other future- facing features. Datacenter eases the graphic creation process by removing scripting and custom coding, making it easier for operators to feed live data into templates. These include eight new data visualisation options, such as penalty and attack maps and player comparison statistics. Transparent AR removes the playing field, instead displaying it as a grid, while AI Cutout generates near-perfect player cutouts from any
sport, including football, swimming and ice hockey. These intelligent tools allow broadcasters to save time and hassle and create more engaging graphics, making for an improved fan experience. Dizplai has added similar features – such as graphics templates, audience interactivity and real-time sports data – to its end-to-end platform. Its latest version allows editors to load visuals before, during and after live matches, responding in real-time to changing viewership. With Dizplai, fans can enjoy live embeds from social media, QR codes, polls and trivia, as well as watchalongs, alternate streams and post-match chat shows.
Philippines-based provider Cignal TV has called upon Quickplay to help launch Pilipinas Live – the only international OTT platform dedicated to Filipino sports. The app will deliver Cignal TV’s top-performing events – including basketball and Spikers’ Turf volleyball – to a global audience.
